Thank you, ahead of time, for entertaining our request for a donation to the Heartlinks Hospice Benefit Dinner and Auction scheduled for Saturday February 7, 2015.
Heartlinks, an independent, non-profit program founded in 1978, serves friends and families in both Yakima and Benton Counties. Heartlinks is a Washington State licensed, 501(c) 3 non-profit, and Medicare and Medicaid certified agency whose employees and volunteers provide support and care for individuals and their families who are facing a life-threatening illness. Services provided include education and counseling, spiritual support, nursing, personal care items, DME, volunteers, family services and bereavement support.
For many years, Heartlinks has hosted an annual fundraising auction to offset the cost of providing quality hospice and palliative care. The funds raised pay for patient care costs that otherwise are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance.
